Assignment 03: Part 2

Here is a video of a very rough walkthrough to get a sense of where things will be in the level.

Here are a few screengrabs of the blocking progress:

Interior of St. John's Chapel - arches under construction

The dungeon seen from the torture chamber
The main stairwell inside of the circular tower
A split-level view of the entrance to a secret passageway and the stairs that it leads to
A wireframe of the whole level so far

Assignment 03: Level Obstacle Difficulty List & Level Layout First Draft

I am starting with the White Tower in the Tower of London and have just found this awesome floor plan which delineates which parts of the castle served which functions, as well as specifying the locations of the staircases. There's a lot of potential for cool stuff - the secret passageway on the upper level, the crypt below the chapel, the dungeon below the crypt below the chapel and a super creepy torture chamber. I'm using historical reference to shape the interactivity of the level, so more to come very soon! http://www.timeref.com/castles/keeps2.htm

Level Blockout Progress
I think I'd like to start the blocking process over - I started constructing the whole of the Tower of London - inner and outer walls and the towers along the perimeter, as well as the Waterloo Block, but there is a lot going on in the White Tower alone. And I'm having scale issues, but here is what I have so far.
